MINECRAFT JAVA EDITION

Body Relay

Seven players share one Minecraft body, swapping control every 60 seconds.

One body. Your whole group.

You and your friends share one Minecraft body. Every 60 seconds, someone else takes control while the rest of the group watches. Your inventory, health, hunger, XP, effects and position all carry over to the next player.

How it works

  • Bring at least one friend. One person plays while everyone else follows their view.
  • You can watch their HUD, inventory and crafting, along with supported vanilla container screens.
  • The order is shuffled, and everyone gets a turn before anyone goes again.
  • If the active player dies, the relay waits for them to respawn. It also handles players disconnecting.
  • There is no set finish line. Stop the relay whenever your challenge is done.

Get set up

Everyone needs the mod, including the server. Use the versions listed under Compatibility.

  1. Install the mod loader

Use Fabric 0.19.3+ for Minecraft 26.2, with Java 25+.

  2. Add the mod

Put bodyrelay-1.0.0.jar in the mods folder on each client and the server. Keep the JAR intact; do not unzip it.

Also install these on each client and the server:

  3. Launch Minecraft

Select the matching Fabric profile and restart the server.

  4. Start playing

Join the same world or server with at least two players, then run /bodyrelay start.
