Use and retention
Information is used to provide sign-in and downloads, verify access, maintain download records, and improve the website. YouTube API Services identify your channel and check membership eligibility when a release requires it.
Channel-linked download records are private. Records older than seven days are removed during cleanup. Sign-in tokens are encrypted and expire within one hour. Site analytics are retained for historical reports and are accessible through a protected owner dashboard.
